CNC metal hot spinning machine is specially designed for the manufacture of steel gas cylinder , It is mainly used for hot spinning steel tubes into high-pressure gas cylinders and fire extinguisher cylinders, including bottom forming and neck forming. It can be configured with automated production lines and single-machine manual production.
Steel Gas Cylinder Metal Spinning Process
- 1. The cut steel pipe is heated in the induction heating station.
- 2. The system detects that the steel pipe has reached the preset temperature, and the robot delivers the pipe to the feeding station.
- 3. The feeding station pushes the steel pipe to the programmed position in the spinning machine spindle.
- 4. The spinning machine system detects the pipe clamping signal and automatically starts the spinning process.
- 5. The process ends, the spindle stops, and the scrap rod delivers the finished product to the receiving robot. Simultaneously, the feeding station delivers a new steel pipe to the main machine for processing.

Steel Gas Cylinder Spinning Features
- This equipment adopts digital control technology, enabling both automatic operation (including loading and unloading) and manual control operation.
- This equipment is a fully numerically controlled, flexible, and intelligent production line, suitable for scenarios involving multiple varieties, small batches, frequent tooling changes, and the development and trial production of new products. To produce different products, it only needs to switch the programs stored in the system to complete the switching of bottom-closing or necking production programs with different specifications and requirements.

The guide rails and displacement sensors have good sealing performance to prevent coolant, dust, impurities, etc., from entering.

The system has the function of automatic switching between front positioning and rear positioning.

The equipment is equipped with 2 sets of auxiliary heating torches controlled by automatic programs and 1 set of central bottom-blowing torch controlled by automatic programs. Heating is performed using oxygen, natural gas, or LPG.

The spindle motor is a 132kW DC motor controlled by a US Parker driver, with an automatic braking function.

The hydraulic system is an independent unit, with functions such as pressure control, temperature control, and oil filter blockage alarm. It adopts two-stage filtration for pressure oil and one-stage filtration for return oil. The system is equipped with original Rexroth AV10VSO series variable displacement piston pumps and high-precision servo valves from MOOG or Parker to meet the control requirements of the transverse (Z-axis) and swing arm feeding axis (X-axis).

The control system adopts the AC-A6 CNC system specially developed by our company for spinning machines, featuring a rich Chinese-English interface, convenient communication ports, and the latest version of system software. The system has functions such as automatic restart after program interruption, power-off protection, and fault self-diagnosis and alarm. The electrical cabinet has a protection grade of IP54. The main components in the electrical cabinet, such as air switches, contactors, circuit breakers, and relays, are selected from Siemens or Schneider products; all wire numbers in the electrical cabinet are printed by a computer numbering machine, with clear labels for electrical component codes, reasonable and neat wiring, and the wiring in the electrical cabinet complies with the GB5226.1-96 standard. The electrical cabinet is equipped with an installation lamp (safety voltage 36V), which automatically lights up when the cabinet door is opened, and the cabinet door is locked to prevent unauthorized opening. The electrical control cabinet is equipped with air conditioning for cooling (installed on the side), along with a temperature display and over-temperature alarm output.
